About Dr. Palmer

After numerous years with a successful Massage Therapy practice in upstate NY, I decided I wanted to be able to offer my clients more.  I wanted to add to my skill set and enhance my treatment options in order to offer additional benefits to the health and wellness of my patients.  I chose to pursue my dream of alternative medicine: Natural Medicine, Acupuncture and Herbal therapy.   I decided to pursue my Masters Degree and become a Licensed Acupuncture Physician and Doctor of Oriental Medicine.   I have studied abroad at hospitals and private clinics in China, including the western medicine 301 Military Hospital in Beijing and the San Xi Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Tai Yuan. 

I specialize primarily in pain relief and stress relief,  as well as preventative wellness.  I use a multi-faceted approach integrating Acupuncture with other modalities such as massage or cupping.   I can facilitate pain relief, healthier joints, increased circulation, improved range of motion, and quicker muscle recovery time.  Due to the Stress/Pain cycle all my treatments will include some form of relaxation technique,  which will help to promote the interruption of this cycle, to reduce the inflammatory effects stress has on ones mind and body.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldyI7mJG2EA

I strongly believe in holistic healthcare.  My goal is to offer you not only pain relief and improved physical health,  but to facilitate a more cohesive mind-body relationship to promote an overall sense of well-being. I will always work within your comfort level and integrate my treatments with any additional care or recommendations you are receiving from other healthcare providers.  I am happy to make referrals to colleagues if I feel their specialties will better suit your needs.  My goal is truly your wellness.

I have been so blessed to choose this career.   I have such a passion for helping others alleviate pain and disharmony and improving their well-being.  I have had the honor of seeing many patients  become pain-free,  which is an amazing and humbling experience.  I look forward to helping you achieve your wellness goals also!
